It’s still bigotry

If you are indignant about people kneeling is silent protest but not about the inequalities in this country, ask yourself why.

As a kid I remember being taunted with “dirty Jew” and other phrases. But I have a choice, I’m white, no one needs to know I’m a minority. Though to be honest, I “look like a Jew” with kinky hair and olive skin. People with skin other than beige have no choice. We shouldn’t have to try and hide our heritage.

Everyone pontificating about the sanctity of the national anthem should stop for a moment and think about worrying about your child every time they left the house just because they are a minority.

Just think about it,

And then get off your soap box so you can help fix this damned mess

The sun rose orange

1000 have died in floods this summer in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Who knows how Houston will recover, I mean the poor not the rich. Who gives a crap what ethnicity is helping what ethnicity there?

Wild fires are searing Canada and the western United States. Our sun is apocalyptic orange due to the smoke.

It is the responsibility of everyone to stop being part of the problem. At least stop using devisive words. Remove “Snowflake” and “Trumper” from your vocabulary.

If we all put as much effort into helping instead of hating, life would get a lot better for a whole lot of people.

Including us

Reinvest your energy.

What will you do

Everything we do has a ripple effect.

For making things good.

For creating harm.

For building someone up or

crushing them like an insignificant bug.

Which side of history (even your tiny corner of history) do you want to be on?

What is your legacy?

Hopefully my legacy is one of hope

Stop

There have been many times I’ve wanted to say stop this week.

To people,

To world events,

Mostly to the atrocities and hate we seem to be heaping on each other.

Just stop…… please
